I'm back to the third book now, of Seven so far. I keep a personal journal day to day, and once upon a time, enjoyed sharing things from it with people on social media. Now that social media is mostly a series of fake accounts interacting with each other, I don't see the appeal. Even on smaller or more specific services like [[Bluesky]], the people I follow or who follow me aren't active, or communicating. They're just saying things, and sometimes people give it a heart. If I'm going to share things, I'm going to share it openly, and with less performative crap. And then if its relevant to a friend, I will share it with them directly on [[Signal]] or [[Telegram]] If I feel like writing further on a topic, I will.
