Fusion (Formerly Fusion 360) is a parametric CAD system owned by [[AutoCAD]].
It has a "Personal use" licence for people with minimal restrictions. This licence is valid if you "make less than $1000 a year using the software".
It is arguably one of the easiest to learn Parametric 3D modelling applications. It is very popular in the [[3D Printing]] and [[3D modeling]] community, despite Autodesk being somewhat..... monopolistic.

After completing said Youtube course, you'll be able to reliably create basic objects, and likely bring them into the real world through 3d printing, Sheet Metal or cardboard bending.
It instills the foundational skills to create more complex designs and objects, limited by your effort and imagination.
