I have two!
A 2009, Honda [[VFR800]]
A 2019, BMW [[R1250GS]]
I always enjoyed riding bicycles as a child and that continued once I moved to Brisbane. Getting across the inner city suburbs was faster by bicycle than car. Definitely cheaper.
One day a friend offered to put me on the back of his Triumph Tiger 1050 for a day's riding in the mountains, and that was it.

## Value
Motorcycles are generally terrible value once you move past a 'learner' bike.
Fuel consumption increases dramatically, to car levels. Servicing is expensive. Tyres are expensive.
Don't get a motorcycle to save money. You do not save money.
